The Liberal Arts Program at Texas A&M University at Qatar is pleased to announce the organization of its 7th international conference which takes place in Doha, Qatar on March 23-25, 2019 under the theme of Liberal Arts in the Global Age: Changing Winds and Shifting Sands. The conference aims to shed light on the intricacies of the liberal arts in the ever-changing and dynamic contexts of the current global era. We hope to continue to attract scholars, practitioners and graduate students who work in the different fields of liberal arts education to share their diverse experiences and research projects with conference delegates. We are particularly interested in projects and discussions with the potential to culminate into identifying areas for further development and collaboration. As we are in the second year of the imposed blockade on Qatar, topics which highlight and relate to the contexts of Qatar and the Gulf region are especially welcomed.
